Photographer task - David LaChapelle He is best known for his commercial and fine art photography but he is also a music video director, film director and an artist. His photographic style has been described as “hyper-real and kitsch pop surrealism” and his work has been called “meticulously created in a high gloss, color-popping, hyper-realistic style” and his photos are known to “crackle with subversive ideas, rude energy and laughter. His phots are full of juicy life. His work refers to art history and often conveys social messages. He was born in 1963 in United States so he is 55 years old at the moment. He was bullied in school for being gay and when he was 15 years old to become a busboy at studio 54 in New York City. The film maker gives the impression that the camera isn’t there so that the subject acts naturally and behaves as they normally would. The Great 5 Year Old Cake Off - The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds This youtube video clip is about 5 year old children, showing how they would act when a specific day to day real life situation faces them. The observational meaning and mode fits this video precisely, this is because if the camera were obvious and the children were aware of the cameras, they would of not acted naturally to the situation.
