Professional Practice Reflection. Why did you make a C.V? Firstly, I produced a C.V because I am planning to apply for work in the media industry, and it will tell companies about my qualifications and  skills in terms of what I have achieved and what I would like to do. Secondly, it helps me reflect on what I have accomplished so far and decide what I need to do next. How did you make a C.V? My teacher took us through the key points of creating a C.V specifically for the media industry and gave us some tips. Eric Ryan Anderson Eric Ryan Anderson’s is a photographer and producer born in Texas and living and working in New York City for 10 years.  Eric’s website is very simple and gives you a brief idea of his style of photography. On the home page there the whole screen displays a number of short clips by Eric, all of them filming close ups of people and with his whole name in the centre of the screen.  You naturally look down below this to see an arrow which you can click to navigate to still pictures.When you hover the mouse over the picture you are given information about that particular shoot. The video on the home page drew my interest instantly, also there are quirky but simples details such as the slanted hamburger button.  I like the way also he has arranged pictures and moving images in a grid pattern. Difference in Social Networking Websites The three different social networks to compare are Wix, Tumblr and Wordpress. To improve my technical and creative skills I would have to practice at every opportunity I have at college. I should take advantage of the media technicians at college to improve my abilities of using Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. And while I'm at home  I could watch youtube videos to learn new techniques and features.  To improve my creative writing I can start writing about the work I do in a notebook which I can share with staff at college to get feedback.  My drawing is getting better as I attend the art club once a week but I need to pay more attention and do more of the work on my own.
