Photography Presentations

· Creative Intention What is your chosen genre of photography as discussed in class? My chosen genre of photography is portraiture, abstract and fine art. The reason why I have chosen this genre is because I have been researching and looking at different photographers’ work and throughout my findings I came to realise how much I like the idea of combining art and more specifically abstract art into photography. Explain your concept/theme for this genre. The theme chosen is a representation of the darkness and brightness of the world’ issues of today at all levels from people, violence, wars, knife crime, mental health issues, poverty, animals extinction, politicians, immigration, environmental damage (pollution).... You need to explain your approach to your ideas and why you have chosen them? My  ideas is to represent the issues are that going on in this world and how I perceive these issues. Research/Questions for my documentary

Questions to ask to the photography students : What is it about photography that made you choose to do this course? Have you worked with both analogue and digital photography? If yes, which do you prefer best? And what do you find different about the two? What is the difference you experience when taking photos using analogue? Or is it all about digital photography nowadays? What is your opinion on digital photography  - has it improved photography? What do you like specifically about the dark room? How much work goes into developing the photos? Do you think this adds to the worth of the photos? Do you use photoshop to retouch photos? What would you say your style of photography is? Is there one particular photographer that you like or has inspired you with your work? Do you feel photographers get as much recognition as they would have done a few decades ago? Do you think that you are going to make a difference in the photography industry?
